Craig graduated from Piedra Vista High School class of 2002. He played soccer, football, track and served as the Student Body President. He then attended UNM where he received his bachelors in Biology and Business. Then Craig decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and go to pharmacy school where he received his Doctorate in Pharmacy in 2010. It was in school that Craig learned the art of Compounding. Craig studied several compounding sub-specialties in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, hospice care and veterinary compounding. Craig joined his father’s practice in 2010 and they opened Four Corners Compounding in the same building as Pinon Family Pharmacy. Steve and Craig Burgess are happy to offer the community other options to medication therapy. Craig has taken the same business and professional ethics of Pinon Family Pharmacy and applied them to the compounding business. Craig sits on the Farmington Boys and Girls Club board of directors and has loved supporting the youth of the community. He serves as an associate professor for the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy where he mentors young student pharmacists.
Craig recently started a family of his own when he was blessed to get his first date and eventually marry Clarissa. They love to spend their free time snow skiing, camping, hiking and with friends and family. The two plan on serving the community for a very long time.
